This combination of theatre games and drama exercises was perfect for my group of 7-10 year olds – every member of the group had a great deal of fun whilst having the opportunity to creatively express themselves. The object adverts exercise need a little bit of additional coaching as I went around to ensure that their adverts were concise, interesting and had a choreographed jingle! . . . All in all, I woould recommend this as a fun and creative combination of theatre games that younger performers will love.

A couple years ago I walked across Spain and noticed for the first time that each day is not the same as the one before it— between walking west and weeks passing, the light and the length of day and the position of the sun were always (slowly) changing. It’s just harder to notice when you’re moving quickly and plugged into the pace of modern life.

Yep, it’s really lucky that I’m not a picky eater! I actually one ended up eating something that may or may not have been pig brain (never was able to figure that out). She was a ‘fixer’. Her job was just to translate and generally help the film crew work get things done without speaking the language. We are certainly on the margins of climate for grapes and watermelon but you can grow them. Watermelon needs to be started indoors and then transplanted carefully in a sunny, hot location. Grapes need sun and protection from the elements like in the south facing lee of a house or a barn.As for grains, Cape Breton is the perfect place for oats!

Regarding the whole NCAA Violations matter, I truly think that the NCAA needs to either be more efficient – and thereby more of a martinet – or become more realistic in their evaluations. While I have absolutely no use for the likes of “Cal-the-Lip”, this current Bledsoe thingy is a waste of time, money, and newspaper ink … The NCAA ought to simply follow the olde adage of “Follow the Money” !!! Thanks for the informative post. I’m terrible at finding the “perfect” pair of jeans because my legs are soo short. I’ve even taken them to a professional tailor and then hated the new hem so I never wore them. Having long legs is definitely a plus! I’ve also got a wide, ahem, posterior and have never tried on a skinny jean because I feel like I’d look like a pear. But maybe I’ve given up too soon.
