I teach a VERY excitable group of young performers and this combination of theatre games offered the perfect balance of hectic, high octane energy release and focused, fun filled, character based improvisational exercises. They used up a great deal of energy in the Appetizers and then learnt to focus that energy in the second half of the lesson. To bridge the gap . . . I played AGEING POPULATION between Bob, Jack and Will and Chain Argument. The characters in the potion exercise were particularly inventive and creative but I did have to coach them to reign in some of the performances so that the characters / stories were clearly understandable to the audience! A highly recommended collection of theatre games from DRAMA MENU!
