I used exercise 26 HANDS OF POWER after WINK MURDER in order to get the class on its feet and physical before moving on to the slightly more focused CHARACTER CARPENTRY. We had a great group discussion after IMAGINARY JOURNEY, the students were SO keen to share their stories / experiences and it was clear that they had fully immersed themselves in the created world . . . this was an excellent lead up game to THE HIDDEN CAVE as, they made full use of those warmed up imaginations to truly believe in the created caves (and the strange creatures found within them)!! My class was for 7-10 year olds and they all seemed to revel in every exercise! I will certainly be using this theatre game combination again, I hope you find it as useful as I did!
