Additional Comments
Although it is a Main Course, I used exercise 119 (Emotionally Torn) as my Starter and it worked really well and set up the final piece “Build To Blackout” very effectively . . . I turned the Emotionally Torn exercise into a fast paced starter by giving the students two very contrasting emotions and a very short amount of time to rehearse the scenes (I also insisted that the pieces were no longer that a minute long as I didn’t want to spend too long on this exercise before moving on to the final piece). . . I think that the time restriction worked really well as the students worked with huge energy, intensity and creativity to get the job done! The resulting scenes were extremely dynamic and showed huge emotional contrast. They took this energy into the final performance piece and produced some stunning work in Build To Blackout; showing clear evidence of emotional contrast and excellent focus in performance. These theatre games complemented each other excellently and I will definitely be returning to these.

myk – Why aren’t the local officials in Charlottesville screaming bloody murder about this horrible project? Are they all willing to be voted out of office by an irate constituency?Or, are there a lot of people who think the bypass is a good idea, even if it is imperfect? And maybe just a few very loud people who don’t want it?This bypass has been planned for 20 years. Hardly a project that was &#&d10;ramrode28#8222; through anything.
