Focus and connection – Theatre games combo – this was perfect for my older students. They wanted / needed something to focus them as a group and in this combination; I found it so; thought I’d share. I’d advise you to try to maintain focus throughout the lesson as ‘Stare… Then Speak’ really benefited from having the company silent and allowing the guys to process and engage with one another before making the decision to speak… quite exhilarating at times and the extra focus in class helped to drive them towards taking more risky choices and putting it all out there so; I’d suggest you try to harbour the same energy in the room as the pay off was worth it.
