This is my Spacial Awareness and Creativity – Theatre Games Lesson Plan; I hope you enjoy! Drama Menu is always my ‘go to’ book at the start of term for drama lesson planning; it has seen me through many terms and produced countless amazing drama classes. This combination was for my first week back and it proved a hit with my students so, I thought I’d share :). It’s physical combination that makes the players aware of their physical position on the stage as well as that of their fellow performers; I also played #33 The Chair Game after the Group Walk which I thought helped with the spacial awareness lesson plan (and it was good for bonding the group and getting them to communicate effectively). This drama game / exercise combination was a great start of term one as it got the players working together, using the space creatively and having fun! I hope you enjoy this as much as we did :).
